Maintenance-free manufacturing equipment, long-life brushless motor #MC nylon

To designers seeking measures against equipment wear and oil-free operation: Long-life motors with no brush wear at overwhelmingly low costs, even in small lots.

In the design of food machinery, packaging machinery, and conveyor systems, resin materials such as "MC nylon" are widely considered for wear prevention of metal parts and for achieving maintenance-free operation. As such, reducing maintenance efforts and extending the lifespan of equipment is a significant challenge in manufacturing settings. However, when reviewing mechanical components, a common oversight is the wear of the "motor itself," which is the power source. Conventional brushed motors require regular replacement (maintenance) due to the wear of the internal brushes. [Center-stapled binding / Paper folding machine] Thin, low-cost geared motor

Explanation of the structure of saddle-stitched booklet creation and desktop binding tools. Consideration of geared motors for the thinning and cost reduction of printing and binding equipment.

"Center-stitch binding," which is essential for creating brochures, manuals, and booklets, involves folding sheets of paper in half and securing them at the center with staples. Center-stitched booklets are widely used as printed materials that offer good openability and save space. Desktop binding tools and automatic center-stitch binding machines that are active in offices and on-demand printing environments need to incorporate multiple mechanisms, such as paper positioning, staple crimping, and paper folding, within a limited desktop-sized housing. Our "PGM series," which uses parallel axis gears with spur gears, has achieved overwhelming "thinness" and "low cost" in geared motors. While it does not possess the strength of planetary gears, it provides significant advantages as the internal mechanism of binding equipment with thickness limitations and as a drive shaft for paper transport conveyors where multiple units are desired at a lower cost.
